DIM – Dynell Inverter Module

The DIM – Dynell Inverter Module is the core element of the DEM 045-90. The DIM is already used in Dynell’s solid-state GPUs and is interchangeable across Dynell product platforms. No configuration is required — just plug & play.

Each DIM contains all electronic components required to transform DC voltage from the battery into 400 Hz aircraft power. The latest semiconductor technology ensures highly efficient power conversion of up to 99% for one DIM

The batteries are based on state-of-the-art Li-ion technology with high energy density for demanding industrial applications. The battery pack is designed in accordance with high safety, and quality requirements and supports reliable operation in daily ground support environments, it is fully CE marked.

Batteries

A modular and clearly structured layout allows easy and safe access to all areas of the unit. The design concept enables flexible adaptation to changing operational requirements.

The nominal output power of one DIM is 22.5 kVA, and battery capacity is available in 84.5 kWh or 96.5 kWh configurations. This enables scalable output power in 22.5 kVA steps up to 90 kVA and storage capacity between 84.5 and 193 kWh.

If operational requirements change in the future, output power and storage capacity can be adapted accordingly.
