With a counter-weight mechanism, the ground handler can bring the Pop-up Pit into operation quickly and easily right next to the aircraft. Once deployed, ground supplies are available at ergonomic working height, so aircraft can be supplied easily, fast and safely with 400 Hz ground power. The Pop-up Pit can hold up to four 400 Hz cables plus additional supplies as needed.
